Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2023-07-23T15:05Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2023-07-23T15:05:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: N23W33
Active Region Number: 13376
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Faint western halo CME with what could be a shock front likely preceding a little bit brighter but still faint bulk. Its source is likely an eruption NE of AR3376 (N23W34) seen in AIA 193/131/EUVIA 195 centered around N28W23 and starting after 2023-07-23T14:00Z. It is likely associated with the C5.2 class flare from AR 3376 (N23W34) peaking at 2023-07-23T14:57Z. Note that there also was a C7.4 class flare from AR 3372 on the NW limb at the time that has to be considered.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
